Photo shoot for Ceremony Magazine at the Garden Court Hotel in Palo Alto.  With the help of Janece from Every Elegant Detail we tried to create a dramatic and theatrical look with a heavily molded gold frame.  The frame was lined with magenta flowers and had an asymmetrical arrangement of purple phalaenopsis orchids on top.  Hanging gloriosa lilies were used as accents inside of the frame along with mercury glass stemware filled with peonies and dahlias on the table.  Photography by Lucie XYZ.

We’re thrilled to have our photo shoot from the Spanish Suite at The Clift Hotel on the back cover of the The Knot-Northern California – Fall/Winter issue.  We are also excited to be an editors pick in the best of weddings for 2011 in the same magazine.

Karame and Pablo’s beautiful wedding in the redwoods of Nestldown made the fall 2011 issue of Destination I Do Magazine.  Photography by Caroline Tran.

Wendy Yalom shot this October wedding from The Clift Hotel.  I love the combination of Halloween and traditional wedding elements.  The art deco style cake is by Cake Coquette.

A few weeks back Thomas Fogarty Winery hosted an event for brides and grooms interested in having their wedding here.  We collaborated with Janece Shellooe of Every Elegant Detail to provide several sample tables at varying price points to give the couples a better idea of what they could receiving at these different levels. Shanni Weilert of What Shanni Saw photographed the event and provided these images.

The low centerpiece had a container made out of wine corks although it is difficult to see. Flowers in this centerpiece included Japanese magnolia, succulents, and other seasonal items.

This table had three different sized ceramic containers with tulips, ranunculas, poppies, and sandersonia.

This table had a bright and bold arrangement on top of a tall candlestick that we had found in an estate sale.

Janece from Every Elegant Detail rented black china and black glassware to match the candlestick.

There were several lounge areas. This coffee table had a round arrangement of fuchsia roses and gloriosa lilies.

The second lounge area had several arrangements of carnations and gloriosa lilies.

Here are a few images of a ring bearer pillow made for an upcoming wedding.  It was knit by hand with varying sizes and colors of buttons sewn on.  The underside of the pillow has a button heart sewn onto it.

Traci’s beautiful bouquet is the Spring / Summer 2011 issue of Brides – Northern CA Magazine.  Her bouquet was made of peonies, calla lilies, ranunculus, and circus roses.  Traci and Justin’s wedding took place at James Leary Flood Mansion in San Francisco and was photographed by Janae Shields.

Here are a few bouquets for brides who were looking to go a little less traditional.  They have a few things you might not expect to see in a bridal or bridesmaid bouquet like peacock feathers, artichokes and wild raspberries.
